Your profile based on Cooijmans tests
© August 2008 Paul Cooijmans
This page is meant to provide insight into one's profile over several aspects of creativity. This is mainly useful to candidates who have taken multiple tests. The information below is partly based on statistics and partly on educated guessing, and on the whole it should be seen as a rough guide to sketching a profile. This is a first attempt to provide profile information based on multiple tests, and it will be further developed and fine-tuned over time.
Suggested for computing a profile are both personality tests and intelligence tests. Currently there is no good way available to combine the two, so one will just have to consider both separately for informational purposes.
The profile aspects included are Conscientiousness, Associative horizon, Intelligence, Verbal ability, Numerical ability, and Spatial ability. The first three are the top-level components of creativity, the latter three form a sub-profile under Intelligence.
For scores on the Gifted Adult's Inventory of Aspergerisms (GAIA) and the Personality Scales for Intelligent Adults (P.S.I.A.), compute the weighted mean of the t-scores (the t-scores are the standard scores with a mean of 50 and standard deviation of 10) for use in the profile.
For scores on intelligence tests, compute the weighted median (explained there) of the protonorms, and then take the I.Q. value of the resulting protonorm for use in the profile (Note it does not serve as an actual I.Q. then, except for in the case of intelligence).
It is not necessary to have taken all of the tests or scales listed under an aspect; Just use those you have taken, but use all of them, do not make a selection to influence the result into a desired direction.
